The YDC series front-gripping jack is a tensioning device designed for use with prestressed anchorage systems. As a type of center-hole (hollow-core) prestressing jack, it features a compact structure and excellent sealing performance. By incorporating the tool anchorage internally, it effectively reduces the space required for tensioning—making it particularly well-suited for operations in confined areas—while also significantly economizing on prestressing steel strands. These jacks are widely used in construction projects involving pre-tensioned and post-tensioned prestressed concrete structures, such as bridges, power plants, highways, high-rise buildings, and geotechnical anchoring. When equipped with front-gripping components tailored to different strand counts, the jack can be used to tension multi-strand anchorages with up to 19 strands.
